Think about it. Each marshmallow in the picture at left represents a person who is homeless in the Metro Milwaukee area ... startling, isn't it?

That is so sad. We have so much to be grateful for.
When I used to live in CA, I used to volunteer with Catholic Charities at a homeless shelter. They helped them get back on their feet with employment and time to live there and have an address to use for jobs, etc. There were many, many families. It was so sad, but there were many who had hope for a better future.
One time, when I was in Chicago overnight, I took an older man out to dinner, at Bennigan's, who was homeless. He was so sweet and interesting! We had a great time!
