CURRENCY

Forgiven.  It's a beautiful word.

When Paul uses it in Ephesians, it's definition is 'redeemed.'  The Greek word means 'to pay for.'

In the first century this word was used to describe an exchange between two parties where someone spent an extravagant sum of money to buy someone out of slavery.

That's what God did for you.  He gave up His only Son at great cost to Himself to purchase our freedom thru the cross of Jesus Christ.  The most valuable currency every spent was the blood of Jesus.

And nothing and nobody can take away what He has done on your behalf.

And be blessed.
