ONE

Today is the day before Christmas - Christmas Eve.  We've been counting down the 12 Days Before Christmas.  In the song, The Twelve Days of Christmas, 1 stands for A Partridge in a Pear Tree.

That ONE reminds us of Jesus - the ONE and ONLY - who came as God's sacrifice to a world in sin - who lived sinlessly though He was tempted in all ways like you and me - who willingly went to a cross to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world that God loved.  He took our place - as our substitute - to satisfy God's wrath and bring mercy and grace to a world in need.

How wonderful is that?
