DOGS

What you focus on is what you become.  I don't think that's rocket science and yet, most of us live life seemingly unaware of the fact.

Do you know who does this really well?  Dogs.  Dogs know how to focus.

Here's how a dog responds to life (not original with me):

DOG'S DIARY
8 am  - Dog food!  My favorite thing!
9:30 am - A car ride!  My favorite thing!
9:40 am - A walk in the park!  My favorite thing!
10:30 am - Got rubbed and petted!  My favorite thing!
12:00 pm - Milk bones!  My favorite thing!
1:00 pm - Played in the yard!  My favorite thing!
5:00 pm - Dinner!  My favorite thing!
8:00 pm - Watched TV with the people!  My favorite thing!
10:30 pm - Sleeping at the foot of the bed!  My favorite thing!

What you focus on is what you become.

Now ... a cat's focus (not original with me):

DAY 983 OF MY CAPTIVITY
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.  They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed some sort of dry hash.  The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.  In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

So come on.  Which would you rather be - and I don't mean a dog or a cat?

If you focus your mind on good things, your life will be . . . . . . . . good.
If you focus your mind on bad things, your life will be . . . . . . . . . bad.

Simple.

And be blessed.
