GOOD

I've never really understood why we call today Good Friday and then have church services that are generally dour, somber, quiet, and in minor keys to celebrate it.  Seems like it would be better labelled Sad Friday.

And I get it.

Jesus was arrested.  Bad.
He was beaten.  Bad.
He was crucified.  Bad.
He died.  Bad.
He was put in a tomb.  Bad.
For three days dead.  Bad.

But then all those bad things were trumped when the stone was rolled away and He rose from the grave in victory forever.  Good, good, good.

So yes - celebrate Friday today, but let's keep it good.
