KERBY

It was happening all day today at KFA ... Guest Carl Kerby, formerly of Answers In Genesis (www.answersingenesis.org), and now of Reasons For Hope (www.rforh.com) speaking.

This morning he poured it on with an energetic conversation about the importance of trusting what the Bible says, not just what we want it to say -- challenging us in particular with believing the first few chapters of Genesis - and the responsibilities fathers and mothers have of teaching Truth to their children.

In the p.m., it was an awesome Round Two ... how 21st century media is inundating and training our youngest generation away from the Gospel and the power of Hollywood on today's culture.

Great day in the house today.

And be blessed.

Sorry you had to miss it, Joanna.

You can check online to see if the message is posted. Usually those are up by Monday, Tuesday at the latest each week.

I am not sure that it will be posted since the guest had DVDs of his own presentation for sale. A 2nd check here at the bookstore is also an option.

Yes I wish we had been able to make it. I will check out his webiste. Question for you, have you ever read any books by Ken Hamm? I thought he was involved with Answeres in Genesis as well? I have heard him speak and he is funny, and brilliant. :) I would love to read one of his books if you have any suggestions...Also one other thing. We are starting a new bible study with KFA. Is it ok for us to listen to the curriculum ahead of time so we can be prepared for our first meeting?

If you could get in touch with Pastor Lisa on the small group info, that will be your best feedback. Blessings on that. Thanks for joining us in life group here at KFA.
